Grandbaby FIX

Grandpa & Grandma needed a baby fix this morning (especailly Grandpa since he is headed to Vegas for most of the week), so we went for visits. Grandpa just had to take some pictures. Joel and Abbie have updated their blog with videos and Ryne is doing the army crawl - see Kyle & Krista's video.

New Pictures Posted

I have posted new pictures in Penny's album and started a January 2009 album.

This weekend we packed Joel and Abbie's house and they moved they belongings to Michigan. They have sold the house and will close this week. Abbie enjoy's her new job, but is not enjoying the record snow falls they are having this year.

Have you heard all the news about the pilot that faked the crash. It's all over the news. The individual lived across the lake from us and had his office about three blocks from here. Kind of strange reading the national news with a local understanding. The guy sounds like a real high roller. Guess you can when you are using other's money.

Penelope Grace Taylor (Penny) Day 2

I've posted some new pictures in the album that show her eyes opened and that head of hair. Day two was great and the Doctors and Nurses have all done what they need to do for a newborn and all love the hair. Emily is rested and doing good today. Dad Josh is beaming.

Penelope Grace Taylor (Penny) Arrives

Baby Taylor - now known as, Penelope Grace Taylor (Penny) arrived this world on January 5, 2009 at 3:20pm at 6 lbs, 15 oz. and 19 inches (a light weight), with a head full of curly dark hair, that we couldn't get a good look at tonight because they needed to keep her hat on, but we did peek. Emily says it is really curly.

She was greeted and welcomed by her Grandparents, Great Grandparents, Aunt and Uncles and cousin Ryne.

Everyone is fine and the delivery went somewhat slow and Emily was quite tired, but is doing fine.

At the link on the right are some early pictures. In an effort to get these posted quickly, I did not take time to edit or crop so they might not be ideal for reprints without some clean up.

Christmas Break is over ! Now back to work !!

It has been a fantastic Christmas break. It was wonderful having everyone over for my birthday and for Christmas. Being sick most of the week off, forced some much needed rest time. After recovery, the kids all put Dad to work fixing things at their houses. Kyle told Ryne that he needs to pay more attention to Grandpa, watch closely, learn and go to the hardware store and not make the same mistake Kyle made. All are on a crash course to learn everything they can, now that they know how much minor home repairs cost.

Emily & Josh are at the hospital awaiting baby "Taylor" (as she has been nicknamed for now). They will be inducing on Monday and we should have another grandbaby soon. We can't wait.
