Ellie is the First to Drive the Boat

Ellie was the first to drive the boat. She was sitting on mommy's lap and reached out to Grandpa and the moment she got on my lap, she immediately knew what to do. She had so much fun.

Bald Eagle Lands at home

Had a once in a life time opportunity last Wednesday late afternoon.

A Bald Eagle flew past the house and landed in a close tree in the woods next to our house. He was there for about an hour enjoying his dinner. I took over 200 (JPEG & RAW) photos and now have to search through them. I did take a moment though and work on the first good one I saw and the results of the original shot and a cropped / zoomed shot are attached.

I shot this with the Canon 40D and 70-200 and 1.4X multiplier on it (about 300mm) and then zoomed in more in Photoshop.

We have not seen him since, but hope he comes back.
